Once you get the correct version, you will play with anyone who owns cod4 and are playing the same version. it is true that you can not activate your cd copy thru steam. you may need to patch to 1.6 first as said above and then 1.7.Īs for it doesn't work on steam. i believe the cd version is 1.4 or something.
